Foundational Principles
tmixw-centrism (land-based ethics): responsibility to place and future generations.
enowkinwixw (oral-centered, consensus-based) integrating 4 perspectives: siya (vision), spitlem (relationships), skemxist (tradition), ntyxtyx (action).
Core restorative practices: centering harmed person ‘s needs, repair harm, meaningful accountability, community involvement, and safe reintegration.
Healing that is emotional, spiritual, mental, physical, and cultural: addressing root causes including intergenerational trauma and ongoing impacts of colonization.
Peace is rooted in Justice. Justice for the land, for the beings who move through it, and for the ancestral knowledge and wisdom that for generations have long protected it.
