Community Language Program
OKIB offers community language classes for individuals interested in learning or strengthening their nsyilxcən language skills. Classes follow the Paul Creek curriculum and are offered at various levels throughout the year as they become available. Courses are typically delivered online in the evenings, providing community members with an accessible opportunity to connect with language, culture, and one another.

F.A.Q.
Community Language Classes are open to OKIB and Syilx Nation members. Some courses may only be available to OKIB members.
Classes are generally offered between September and June. Typically, two cohorts are offered each year, although the number of classes may vary depending on program capacity.
