The Emergency Preparedness Program helps the community prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies such as wildfires, flooding, and severe weather. The program develops emergency response plans, coordinates with regional partners and agencies, and provides resources to help Members prepare their households.

During emergencies, the program supports coordinated response efforts and ensures timely communication and assistance for members. By focusing on clear planning, collaboration, and community readiness, the program strengthens safety and resilience for OKIB Members and those living on reserve land.
